Snow White and the Batman 3 Star

Inception actor Tom Hardy is on a roll landing roles these days. We recently learned that he'd been cast in an unspecified role in Batman 3, and now comes word that the British actor may be joining Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman.

According to The Playlist, Hardy "is circling one of the key roles as Eric, The Huntsman." The site adds, "We're also told that the studio are courting Angelina Jolie to play Ravenna, the evil queen and villain of the piece." A casting call is said to be underway in the U.K. to find an unknown to play Snow White.

This project is one of three competing Snow White movies to crop up in light of the billion-dollar success of Alice in Wonderland. Snow White and the Huntsman will be directed by Rupert Sanders, who is perhaps best known to you as the director of the live-action Halo: ODST game trailer below:
