Meet Swampy the alligator.

What is it?
Where's My Water? is yet another iOS physics puzzler from Disney and JellyCar developer Walaber. The basic premise follows the vintage Disney formula: Swampy the alligator lives in the sewer, and it's up to the player to fill his bathtub with enough water to get him clean. The water supply in each stage follows realistic physics, so players will need to bomb it, syphon it, redirect it, or do anything else in their power to get it from the start of each stage into Swampy's tub. Players primarily accomplish this by digging paths through the dirt via simple touch-screen swipes.

Did we like it?
Where's My Water? could have been a quick cash-in, jumping on the physics trend kicked off by Angry Birds and Cut the Rope. Lucky for us, the game separates itself from the pack with excellent puzzle design and high-quality presentation. The cartoon visuals are a step above the usual puzzle game fare – Swampy himself animates wonderfully and always appears incredibly adorable. Hopefully Disney has more plans for the character. Where's My Water? kept me highly entertained through its entire duration.

Should you buy it?
Where's My Water? doesn't take the physics puzzler crown from Cut the Rope, but it comes close. Its simple water-directing premise could have worn thin, but through clever puzzle design Walaber has expertly stretched the game's formula - acid water eats through dirt, water-activated switches trigger special mechanisms, and plenty more. The game feels fresh across all 80 stages. Where's My Water? won't change the mind of any gamers that don't have love for these collections of bite-sized physics puzzles, but for anyone that digs the formula, Where's My Water? is a must-own.
