Back in October, we divulged all the details on Kevin Smith's upcoming ice hockey movies Hit Somebody: Home and Hit Somebody: Away. But now it sounds like the Clerks director plans to combine the two films into one.
"Now gonna make one big movie instead," Smith tweeted yesterday. "Makes more sense, anyway: the movie's about taking one, good shot."
The Wrap reports that Smith also plans to move the shoot from July or September to June, with plans to premiere the film at Sundance 2013.
Hit Somebody stars Nicholas Braun as the Wayne Gretzky-inspired lead, Buddy McCracken. The cast also includes John Goodman, Melissa Leo, Alan Rickman, Kevin Pollak and Smith's "Hollywood Babble-On" podcast partner Ralph Garman.
