It seems Rick Remender has a thing for Marvel's covert op teams. Coming from a red-hot run on Uncanny X-Force, Remender is poised to take over Secret Avengers from Warren Ellis starting with January's #21.1. Joining him for the Point One issue is artist Patrick Zircher.

Secret Avengers #21.1 sends Captain America and Hawkeye into the darkness of the Marvel Universe, kicking off what will surely be a memorable run. Look for it on January 25, 2011.
