Silicon Knights
Canadian developer. Silicon Knights was incorporated in July, 1992 after the company's first game, Cyber Empires, was published throughout Europe and North America. After releasing Dark Legions and Fantasy Empires and Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, the company entered into an exclusivity agreement with Nintendo and created Eternal Darkness as well as a special edition of Metal Gear Solid for GameCube. In 2004, Silicon Knights parted ways with Nintendo and reclaimed its independence.
