Welcome to Channel Surfing, the IGN TV podcast. This is where the staff of IGN TV (and occasional guests) lends their print-ready voices to the world of podcasting!

For the final podcast of 2010 (fare thee well!), Goldman, Fowler and Moro take a look at a couple of big news stories from the past week, starting with ABC looking to make AKA Jessica Jones the first live-action Marvel Comics TV series since the Disney/Marvel deal. Can the very adult source material work as a network series? Meanwhile, Syfy has decided to cancel Stargate Universe, bringing to an end (for now) a very long-running TV franchise and we use a reader's email to spark a conversation about the state of Syfy these days.

Other news topics covered include a couple of familiar faces joining Torchwood, Sam Neill joining the cast of J.J. Abrams' Alcatraz and Jessica Alba deciding to help fellow hottie Kelly Oxford bring her Twitter feed to TV.

Reader email includes questions and comments on the Golden Globe nominations, The Walking Dead and Fringe - or at least a recent promo for Fringe.

Finally, we end the podcast with a conversation about the end of Dexter: Season 5 and whether we think the Dexter/Lumen story came to a satisfying conclusion.
