Patton Oswalt was born on January 27, 1969 in Portsmouth, Virginia. Oswalt first started working in standup in 1996, which led to two comedy albums, 2004s "Feelin' Kinda Patton" and 2007s "Werewolves and Lollipops." Soon after starting standup comedy, Oswalt found himself working as a writer on the sketch comedy show MadTV in 1997.
