Review
Bob's Burgers is the latest addition to FOX's Sunday night animated block, and its story of a dysfunctional family with two put-upon parents and three difficult kids should feel very familiar to fans of The Simpsons and Family Guy. Whether this show has the staying power to match those behemoths is a lot to ask after only one episode, but the uneven pilot did have its share of solid jokes. The biggest question Bob's Burgers faces is whether the lead characters, Bob and Linda (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin and John Roberts), can carry the show or if they will be usurped by the children, who were clearly the funniest part of this premiere episode.
