Real Steel Pounded Out on Home Video

Robots punching other robots in the face. Yeah, for real, we're not joking around here. That is the premise behind the newest Hugh Jackman family action flick that blends the tale of a Rocky-esque underdog with that of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots, titled Real Steel. Who could be against something that outlandish?

Certainly not the likes of Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, who will be releasing the heartwarming DreamWorks take on overcoming adversity by repeatedly smashing in the faces of robots on January 24, 2012, across both DVD and Blu-ray via a Combo Pack release that also entails a Digital Copy.

The film stars Jackman as a guy named Charlie Kenton, one who has seen better days as a boxer and a person. Trying to mount up for his biggest comeback yet, Charlie gets by on the daily from being a promoter for robotic boxing, trying to redeem himself in the eyes of the fans, but more importantly, his son Max (Dakota Goyo). The movie follows the ups and downs on his way back into the spotlight.
