The King of Pop's family wants to see him get the big screen biopic treatment.

Variety reports that the estate of Michael Jackson has reached out to Montecito Picture Company, the production banner of Tom Pollock and Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman, about producing and financing a biopic that the trade claims "would only cover certain periods of the late singer's life."

Pollock confirmed to Variety that they're talking about the project, but that there's no deal yet.
