I'm Daemon Hatfield, and I've beaten Saints Row the Third.

Last week I answered a reader question about whether it's better to play as a man or woman in Saints Row 3. I also encouraged you to write me with your own questions:

So here we go: your Saints Row the Third questions answered!

Question (from James Worville): Does Saints Row 3 have cheats? Also, can you use cheats online?

Answer: Yes, there are two ways to unlock cheats in Saints Row the Third. First, you can spend in-game currency to unlock them -- anything from special abilities to health upgrades to weapon modifications. The other way to unlock cheats is a secret for now.

And yes, you retain your upgrades (cheats) when playing online.

Question (from Josh): When you become a naked character are the naughty bits blurred out or was that done for YouTube?

Answer: Sorry, Josh, those naughty bits are blurred in the game. The standard in America is: horrific violence = good, the naked body = bad.

Question (from Samuel Brown, England): I was hoping you could tell me what radio stations are in Saints Row 3. I like 107.7 the mix in Saints Row 2.

Answer: You're in luck, Samuel -- 107.7 The Mix is back with pop rock from the '80s and '90s. Here are all the radio stations in Saints Row the Third:

Question (from Jordan): I was wondering if you are allowed to give us any info on Professor Genki's show in Saints Row 3.

Answer: The Professor Genki activities are basically Running Man-style game shows where you run and gun through trap-filled warehouses. Kill enough enemies and make it to the exit before time runs out and you are rewarded with cash and respect.


Question (from Jazib): Do you get gang clothes?

Answer: You can customize your gang with different styles of clothing and vehicles, if that's what you mean.

For those of you wondering what your gang is, you eventually recruit gang members that can be summoned to fight alongside you in combat.

Question (from Jarule): Is there a place where you can upgrade your guns?

Answer: You can upgrade weapons both at Friendly Fire stores and in your cell phone's Upgrades menu.

Question (from Josh): What is your favorite weapon and will you be having dlc's with weapons? If you do, i think you should have light sabers or something like that if you do not already. You are completely awesome.

Answer: Well, thanks, but I'm not making Saints Row the Third -- I just love the hell out of it. I'm not sure if developer Volition is planning any downloadable weapons or not. But my favorite weapon in the game is probably the Annihilator rocket launcher. Eventually you'll upgrade it to fire heat-seeking missiles.

Question (from Craig): I was just wondering if you can customize your guy before you start the game as u could do that in the first two games before game play started.

Answer: Saints Row the Third begins with a bank robbery where your character is wearing a mask. Right after that mission you get to do your customization.

Question (from Peter Freeman): What kind of vehicle customization is there in Saints Row the Third?

Answer: You can improve a vehicle's performance (tire durability, reinforced bumper, nitrous), modify the body, change the wheels, etc...

Question (from Santana Stott): Does the Octopus Gun work on STAG?.

Answer: Yes, it does. But remember, the only way to get the Octopus Gun is by pre-ordering Saints Row the Third.

Question (from Simon Kita): Is there like a car delivery by a call?

Answer: Yes, you can upgrade your gang to deliver vehicles right to you.

Question (from Jimi Whitlock): Can you buy multiple cribs?

Answer: Yep, by my count there are about 10 cribs scattered all over Steelport.

Question (from Victor): When we get Professor Genki's Manapult car can we take the cannon off the car?

Answer: No.
