Action Force:
Action Force was a range of
comic book characters and
action figures based on
action man.

history in short:
First made in 1982 by the english
company Palitoy Limited. These
the same makers of the larger
range of action figures named
Action Man.

Action Force Base (Was made of cardboard and had its own Zip-Line)
AF-3 (A Jeep petrol vehicle)
AF-5 Multi-Mission Vehicle
AF-7 Deep Sea Dive Platform
AF-9 Mountain an Arctic (is a snowmobile-style vehicle)

(1983) Second generation:
After the success of the first generation of figures, a second much larger range was launched (1983) after a good sale report of close to a million over six months in 1983. The range was then further expanded with a second wave of Action force witch was released in 1984,adding a hole range of new figures and vehicles.



(1985)Third generation:
In 1985 Palitoy ceded control of the European market to Hasbro following the death of one of palitoy's owners (Name:Alfred Pallett) and therefore finishing there operations at thier Leicester factory. Hasbro purchased the Palitoy factory, copyrights and moulds they then began to package G.I. Joe figures under the Action Force brand. In lamens terms,this move marked the end of sub-grouping of the Action Force team. And a new Unified Action Force (for short AF) also faceing the same enemy with the name of Cobra.
