Salesforce Session at Cloud Expo
Callidus Software announced on Thursday that its participation as a platinum sponsor of Dreamforce '09, salesforce.com's seventh annual user and developer conference, was a significant success.
Callidus Software showcased its new applications available on the Force.com platform, including Monaco Suite, Commissions Manager and Plan Communicator to the more than 15,000 participants who attended the event.
"We attended Dreamforce to showcase our native SMB products on the Force.com platform," said Leslie Stretch, president and CEO at Callidus Software. "We have received strong interest in our Force.com products such as our claims-based solution, Commissions Manager, and our document distribution and approval solution, Plan Communicator. These SMB products provide an easy on-ramp to sales performance management by strengthening communication and streamlining sales processes."
Following Dreamforce, Mark Smith, CEO and EVP at Ventana Research, commented on Commissions Manager in the Ventana Research Blog that, "The two solutions Callidus Plan Communicator and Commissions Manager help organizations off-board from using dedicated spreadsheets onto a solution that uses software designed for the process and for management to ensure accurate and fair commission and incentives are paid. I believe this is the type of support that especially mid-size organizations with 15 up to 100 sales representatives on compensation plans need to automate this process. The solution [...] will meet the majority of mid-sized organizations that have defined products and services with set commission rates and accelerators(1)."
Smith continued, "In addition, Callidus Software announced they will be expanding their entire suite on top of the Force.com platform to further embrace the cloud computing advancements at salesforce.com [...]. Callidus is taking a large step forward to build native applications on the Force.com platform to embrace the Salesforce CRM environment while also maintaining their enterprise class sales performance management suite that is more typically used in large and very large sales forces(2)."
Salesforce.com customers, partners and industry experts engaged in learning about best practice solutions at Dreamforce, which also provided ample networking opportunities and access to vendors in the salesforce.com community. In addition to showcasing its Force.com applications, Callidus Software executives hosted three breakout sessions, showcasing essential SPM strategies for 2010 and demonstrating how companies can utilize the Force.com platform to drive sales growth using SPM applications.
Attendees learned how Callidus Software's proven SPM solutions help businesses maximize sales cost efficiencies and improve sales execution.
