Acquia will develop and maintain a relevant and timely curriculum addressing a wide range of Drupal design and development topics. Training and coursework will be provided directly to customers by Acquia’s network of partners. Leading development and design agency Chapter Three has signed on as Acquia’s first Drupal training program partner.

“Drupal’s fast growth means there’s a huge demand for knowledgeable Drupal users at all levels, but the relative scarcity of training resources could hamper the pace of Drupal adoption,” said Tom Erickson, CEO of Acquia. “As the enterprise guide for Drupal, we felt the Acquia Training Program was a must have for the industry.”

Drupal Training Program Details:

• Acquia will develop curricula on a variety of topics including platform development and Drupal site design.
• Partners will be accredited through the program and offer coursework and training directly to Acquia customers globally.
• Chapter Three will begin offering courses immediately using curricula already successful with their current client base. Acquia will work with Chapter Three and other partners to expand, update and improve curriculum over time.
