software, has announced the winner of its haxTuple Contest – Scott Zuke of
Core Services Group in Western Michigan. Scott will receive an Apple iPad for
his efforts. The haxTuple contest was aimed at fixing and resolving bugs in
anticipation for the upcoming xTuple 3.5 release. As a result of contest -
324 bugs were resolved. The runner-up in the contest was Alfredo Martinez of
Sitwell Furniture in Yucatan, Mexico, xTuple ERP is available in the
PostBooks (free community version), Standard and Manufacturing Editions. All
three versions run equally well on Mac, Windows and Linux computers and are
fully internationalized with multi-currency, support for multiple tax
structures, and multilingual translation packs maintained by the global

Cloud Expo on Ulitzer
CA is looking for talent in EMEA: associate account managers, directors of
solution sales, senior solution strategists, sales account managers,
technical sales consultants and alliance account managers.
It says it’s launched a large-scale recruitment drive and it’s not often
big companies put out press releases saying so.
It says it means to capitalize on cloud computing and virtualization.

I’ve known about the Magento e-commerce platform since 2008, and I was
immediately impressed by its user friendliness and out-of-the-box features.
Since then, Magento has really grown, and quite a few members of our

Rarely do I come across blogs or commentary on IT subjects that cut to the
heart of the issue, touch on some human aspect and leave out all the
technical jargon. To me, that’s the best type of writing of which our
industry could use more.
