This article describes how to change the size of the Volume Control Mixer window.

The Volume Control Mixer window can be displayed in two sizes. The default size that is displayed when you double-click the Volume icon on the taskbar is larger, and takes up a lot of screen space. To reduce the size of the Volume Control Mixer window, press CTRL+S. The window remains smaller until you change it again.
