The Volume Control Mixer window can be displayed in two sizes. The default size that is displayed when you double-click the Volume icon on the taskbar is larger, and takes up a lot of screen space. To reduce the size of the Volume Control Mixer window, press CTRL+S. The window remains smaller until you change it again.
