The Tale of Despereaux brings Kate DiCamillo's beloved children's book to the big screen for the very first time. This wondrous tale revolves around three unlikely heroes: A misfit mouse who prefers reading books to eating them, an unhappy rat who schemes to leave the darkness of the dungeon, and a bumbling servant girl with cauliflower ears. Their fates become intertwined with that of the castle's princess, and it is Despereaux who will save them all.
