Clive Owen Is Going to Cartagena

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clive Owen will be starring in Cartagena for Mark Cuban's 2929 Productions.

The story is about a secret agent who infiltrates a drug cartel. Owen's character has things further complicated when he has drug dealers and other nefarious sorts coming after him.

In real life Cartagena is fertile ground for this type of story. Throughout its history it has featured drug wars as well as a strong tourist industry.

Michael Ross (Turistas) will be writing the screenplay.
