hells yeah

November 6th, 2008 1:04pm
Its about time he start running I can't wait for this movie

October 30th, 2008 2:01pm
It just goes to show that you can never REALLY ever kill these characters.

October 29th, 2008 12:25pm
I just have one concern: Michael Bay. While Transformers somewhat redeemed him, he hasn't had a history of good movies. I guess he can't do too much damage as just the producer...we'll see.

October 28th, 2008 4:15am
John Carpenter's The Thing was such a bad ass movie lol. They should make a sequel. Or hell, they could even do a remake since that's popular at this time. I don't mind remakes. It doesn't destroy anything, since you will still have the originals. Personally, all the horror movies I have ever seen have been a joke in one form or another. Quality wise, they don't stand a chance into todays world. That old shitty camera look and grain etc.

October 27th, 2008 9:49pm
looks like the same old stuff we've seen before.
so what? jason runs for once.
ur telling me u dont think there will be scenes where he takes his time walking towards a girl who somehow keeps tripping over countless amounts of holes and logs? the teaser is great but idk yet. The full trailer will be helpful.

October 27th, 2008 4:36pm
Hell Yea!

October 27th, 2008 4:04pm
Ya your right, making movies are better than they were back then, plus they were not as scary,I seen Texas Chain Saw then saw the remake in 2003 I thought It lived up to the original, but horror movies are crap these days I cannot stand the Saw movies it's the same shit over & over.

October 27th, 2008 3:14pm
That's true but you already have the original for generations...I think they remake for "the look" of the film. As in to make it look better than the original. For example Clash of the Titans: the movie will simply be remade for "the look" since we have technology to make something look a lot more real than the original.

October 27th, 2008 2:59pm
Hay,Ringwraither,to answer your question why make a remake, well maybe its generation I remember I was 10 years old in 1982 and dad took me to go see John Carpenders The Thing remake, maybe its pointed towards a younger gen,not as I was when I saw The Thing,It could be age.

October 27th, 2008 2:32pm
Agree with phxman that it will be a well made film, but the only thing that I want answered is..WHY? Why would they make remake? Is it for money or for the word of mouth (being better than the original). I'm not sure how much they'll accomplish here with no name actors and actresses, but from the look of it, it seems well made.

October 27th, 2008 1:32pm
Ok,Michael Bay as producer and director of Texas Chainsaw,It's going to be a very well made remake.I will go see this the day it hits theaters,I'm not a fan of remakes because Hollywood is just running out of ideas but I will see this for sure.

October 27th, 2008 9:04am
that was a very great friday the 13th movie trailer teaser.

October 27th, 2008 7:48am
ooooooooooohhh!!!! i love this argument. who would win between Jason and Mikey? well you have tyo look at all the facts.
they are both very similer. and it depends which Jason and Myers we are talking about. if you mean from the orginal movies, then it's hard to call. but if you take Myers (H20) and Jason X. then Jason would tear him a new A-hole.
then again again you could compare Myers (Zombies version, who is a big motherfucker played by Tyler mane) and the new Jason (again, abig mother fucker who runs fast played by Derek Mears) then i would go with Jason. lifting Myers into a running powerbomb and slamming his big ass into the dirt.

October 26th, 2008 11:49pm
lmao rad...good point. I liked how he was always calm. I thought that was creepier than Freddy joking about fear or something stupid of that sort.

P.S. Jason would eat Myers for breakfast. End of story.

October 25th, 2008 1:44pm
ChuckConnors, also beautifully stated

October 25th, 2008 1:43pm
Well said, rad. Couldn't agree more

October 25th, 2008 12:43pm
What you don't get CMR is that that's what killed Mike. Giving him a story killed him. Halloween was scary because no one really knew what made Mike kill. That's the f'ed up part about him. And remember I'm talking about the original Halloween so I don't know why u went through the entire series for me. Making him a baby because he had it hard at home is just to cliche, too boring. That's not horror. That's another "my parents hated me, now I'ma kill" big woopy. What made the new Joker scary was the same reason Mike Myers was scarier in the first. There was no back story to them. In the new Batman, at first u think there is because he talked about how his dad gave him those scars but then he changes the story to everyone else so no one really knows how he came to be. No ID no nothing just a simple crazy guy. Rob Zombie made Mike too colorful. John Carpenter made Mike a mystery and more creepy. Back then Mike Myers was even known as The Shape. No emotion no nothing simple evil. Now in the new one I got a story...ya goodbye to creepy factor. It's not creepy on how someone kills someone, it's creepy not knowing what's going on in their head, what made them crazy.

October 25th, 2008 10:25am
who the fuck is going to believe a movie about a mass murderer who stalks his victims at the pace of a turtoise? at least they are adding a bit of realism. even if the overall story is still far fetched.

i hope he runs fucking marathon and slices and dices every-one he passes!

October 25th, 2008 7:25am
Michael Bay?? this'll rock 4 sure, although seing Jason run, u dont get 2 see that everyday

October 24th, 2008 7:03pm
Lol it makes me laugh when someone says Zombie ruin the Halloween franchise , am a huge fan of the halloween franchise but always thought that the original was far from perfect , and honnestly i found the remake to be a lot more creepier and intense then the original , and Zombies casting is just pure candy.

but am not here to talk about that remake but the Jason one , well first since Jason is already in the first one and that he already had is mask , this shouldnt be called a remake at all but just an addition to a popular franchise ( just like the TCM recent additions ) . the film looks o.k , was dying to see another Jason set in the woods , but to have him run WTF , and ill leave it at that for now ,

October 24th, 2008 4:19pm
It looks good already. Not only does it keep the creepy music, but Jason runs.

October 24th, 2008 11:22am
Nothing insightful, short and sweet, I Can't wait to see it.

October 24th, 2008 11:06am
and the movie looks awsome and chuck rob did not kill myers!!! the old movies of myers killed it!!! like first off the halloween movies wernt even about myers intill 4 and 5!! if u were a fan u would know that!! and then in the movies he was suppost to be a super robot in one ummm yeah.... so rob put life into myers he put story into it that was never even there to begin with!! 1 and 2 was about jamie lee, and 3 was about another halloween story and they were never ment to be about myers at all!!! and 6 haha they made him a super robot..haha wtf!! shit well all i have to say is thanks to rob we have a myers story!!!

October 24th, 2008 10:55am

October 24th, 2008 10:38am

October 24th, 2008 9:04am
it looks like it is worth watching.

Cell, don't be so narrow minded. open up to the youth of today and get fisted. you'll enjoy it.

October 24th, 2008 8:46am
Ok this trailer looks a bit better, but nothing will beat the original Friday The 13th. I wait until this is out on dvd...

October 24th, 2008 7:02am
I can't wait for this one.

October 24th, 2008 4:31am
We get it cell, ur a narrow minded douchebag who only likes a movie if it has no fan base and zero people interested in it...we get it

October 23rd, 2008 11:20pm
I like Rob Zombie as a director but man he really ruined Mike Myers. I know I'm gonna get negative feedback on this comment but I do feel he messed up the concept of the first Halloween. Halloween, the original, was creepy. He was stalker-ish. It set the mood for horror, it was psychological. All Rob did was turn him into a pointless non-scary killer and filled the movie with gore. Sure it works for Jason because that's Jason, but Myers was not meant to be like that. I guess he just wanted to take a different approach and portray him more like a Jason and I guess some people liked that. In my opinion, it sucked. Instead he should've remade Texas Chainsaw Massacre. That would've been more up Rob's alley.

October 23rd, 2008 11:11pm
Jason was always quick and jumpy in the first 3 films, he started walking in the later sequels when he would appear more messed up like a corpse which makes sense. You can't say that it doesnt make sense for him to walk, he's a walking dead guy. He gets killed in every one then comes back. In this 1, it makes sense for him to run. He hasn't begun to deteriorate. lol Well it looks like a pretty good throwback to the series. Looks more the way they did in the 80's when the series was good. Even though this one has Jason in it as the killer, I wonder if it will follow the same storyline though as the mother being the first killer, maybe in the beginning or like flashbacks. That would be cool.

October 23rd, 2008 7:29pm
also you been here a long time and have no friends...so i guess your PYPEBOMB!

October 23rd, 2008 7:28pm
ps: i know more about a good movie than you do! read my other comments before saying shit you dont know when somebody knows you!

October 23rd, 2008 7:25pm
um..yeah right you say that about every movie...you must be...um...NERVERMINED!

October 23rd, 2008 7:13pm
pretty nice, i'm a fan of all the original slasher films, i basically grew up with them. the remake of halloween was pretty good for my point of view, hopefully this one can also live up to the original or be better.

October 23rd, 2008 7:07pm
TENACIOUS JR..LOL...Im in my late 30's!! U on the other hand have "No Clue" what makes a good film!!!!

Still LQQks like shit!!

October 23rd, 2008 6:45pm
cell you have no clue what a good movie is do you? this will be awsome and better than the original. your a kid so how can you say your into the original yourself?

October 23rd, 2008 6:31pm
Well I don't like a flustered Jason, that's the difference between him and Freddy, he doesn't give a fuck and just kills everyone calmly. He doesn't bitch, he doesn't talk, he just kills at his own pace.

October 23rd, 2008 6:11pm
I never really liked it, however, this looks alot better than the last video. And although I am not a fan, the running instead of walking does make a bit more sense, although not as "cool".

October 23rd, 2008 5:24pm
THAT WAS THE SHIT!!! I am interested in this now.

October 23rd, 2008 5:12pm
I completely agree Edge

October 23rd, 2008 4:52pm
Its wasn't killed by hollywood. The original still exist. so go watch it! I think this one will be pretty good. New JV has life. None of that slow walking bullshit. Its not realistic that he can walk normal speed and still catch the falling down camper. Hes a badass motherfucker in this movie.

October 23rd, 2008 4:36pm
LOL...ROFL!!!! Ohhhhhhhh MY GOD what was that cheap crap!???!??!

I'm not wasting a dime!!!

Another film from my childhood killed by Hollywood!!!

October 23rd, 2008 4:36pm
That scene where he's about to slice the girl DID look pretty sweet, i have to admit

October 23rd, 2008 4:09pm
Awesome.

October 23rd, 2008 2:59pm
I have to say, this does look incredible to begin a reboot. Especially for a horror movie. It was classic, the first three, but this looks reasonably solid. Jason running does make more sense, it isn't made for the die hard audience that once knew Jason, but for a new audience with a different imagination. Just like Halloween. Horror icons are seen differently now, and it's fine to catch up with the times. The audience now doesn't just want to be entertained, but provoked into thought. They like to see what makes sense. It has to make some kind of logical sense to draw the audience now, and I'm with that. I prefer things to deal in a realm of some sort of reality whether I fully understand it or not, I want to connect. I was never afraid of Jason. Michael Meyers on the other hand, he scared the crap out of me. Especially Rob Zombie's, he made him out to be more of how I thought of him. Mike could be anyone on Halloween night wearing a mask. Anything can happen in the woods, but you'd run into a breathing psycho before you'd see Jason. So, bring it on with the reboot.

October 23rd, 2008 2:51pm
It never made sense how Jason walked slow. So I am glad He has some life in this movie!!! Looks great!
