A highly net-savvy city

GUESS WHICH city in the country has the largest number of broadband internet connections?

It is Bangalore, with more than one lakh connections from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). With high-speed broadband provided at a tariff of Rs. 500, with a limited amount of downloads, virtually any household can afford it.

Now the private players, we hear, are gearing up to give even more attractive offers, with higher speed connections and more options for downloading.
