important event for new processor and related announcements.
In-Stat/MDR, publisher of Microprocessor Report and
forum host, invites you to submit proposals for announcements
at Microprocessor Forum, to be held October 4-7, 2004,
at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, California.
We are also accepting English language
proposals for Processor Forum-Asia, which will be held
in Taiwan in late October. We encourage you to submit
your proposal for either or both of these premiere events.
We are actively seeking speakers
who can address the following issues:
- PC Processors
- Server Processors
- Low Power Embedded
- Consumer Embedded
- Imaging and video DSP
- Challenges of Advanced Semiconductor

To be considered, your proposal for Microprocessor Forum
must include the following information:
- The name
of the chip, product, or technology
- General features
and target markets of the chip, product, or technology
- Specific
technical details that will be discussed at Microprocessor
Forum
- Whether the
chip will be formally announced or disclosed for the
first time at Microprocessor Forum (if not, what prior
disclosures or announcements are planned)
- For non-chip
announcements, please provide details on the product
to be announced, its relevance to the event, and particulars
that will help evaluate the presentation
- Other descriptive
information about the presentation
- Company name
- Speaker's
name (should be the chief architect or lead designer
of the product)
- Speaker job
title
- Speaker's
biography (approximately 30 words)
- Speaker's
address, phone, fax, email address, and administrator
(if any)
- Abstract
title
- P.R. or Marcom
contact (include phone, fax, and email)
Please be certain
to note whether you would like to present in San Jose,
Taiwan, or both.
Your abstract
or outline should not exceed 500 words.
Your final presentation
should be 15-20 minutes. The typical presentation will
have 15-20 PowerPoint slides.
Please note
that preference will be given to new processors and
cores that are being disclosed for the first time at
the Forum.
All presentation
proposals will be kept strictly confidential. Proposals
may be preceded or accompanied by appropriate non-disclosure
agreements.

Notification
You will be notified of the status of your proposal
by June 30, 2004. If accepted, our speaker coordinator
will contact you immediately with a timeline for the
development of your presentation
