Get ready to start a repair request

Important: You’ll need to factory reset your phone before you get your phone repaired. If you can’t do it, the service center will reset it for you. A factory reset erases all your data from your phone. Eligible Pixel phones can use Repair Mode.

Important: These steps only apply to users in India. To check your repair options in other countries, contact Google Store Help.

Make sure to select all damages even if you previously didn’t intend to report them. You'll be charged for any out-of-warranty repairs.
  8. Select your repair option: Walk-in or Mail-in.

    • For in-warranty phones or damage, there's no charge for the repairs.
    • For out-of-warranty phones or damage, prices may vary.
  • If damage is found during inspection that increases the repair cost, the partner tells you. Before repair can start, you must approve the new cost.
  • Partial repairs aren't available. Learn more about the repair process.
Step 5: Pick up your phone

When your phone is repaired, you’re notified that it’s ready for pickup.

Option 2: Send your phone for mail-in repair

Important:

  • When your phone is inspected at our repair centre, you’ll receive the final repair cost over email.

Step 3: Choose your delivery packaging
  • Prepaid packaging: This can take up to 3–4 business days to arrive. Packaging is padded to protect the phone.
  • Your own packaging: If you choose this option, you’re responsible for any damage that might occur to your phone in transit. To reduce the risk of damage during transit, make sure to package your phone securely. After your phone is repaired, the repair center ships it back to you in sturdy, padded packaging.

Tip: Confirm that the address in the repair center is correct. You won't be able to edit the address when you've finished the order.
