I did a search to see if this had already been answered but found nothing relevant so I do apologise if this is another commonly asked and answered question else where.

I've been using Sandboxie since just before Sophos' discontinuation of the software. I've been using Sandboxie-Plus in conjunction with a Home certificate since 2022. Previously I have used that certificate from the start to finish date before renewing.
So my question is, if my licence expires 13.05.2025 and I renew before that date do I loose the remaining days on the previous? And if so, why is the application requesting me to purchase an updated certification before that end date?

Just to be clear, I am not complaining. I just want to make sure that I am not renewing wastefully on my part as I use Sandboxie every day and money doesn’t grow on trees.... so I've been lead to believe.
