I found the app "Notepads" that does it exactly how I expected Neovide to work as well: https://github.com/0x7c13/Notepads It stays transparent when inactive, so seems not to be a acrylic limitation. edit: |

Perhaps I'm blind but I can't find an option to keep my window opacity constant as the window goes inactive. I added the "always on top" feature via some AutoIt script. It's important for me for the window to stay above an application I manipulate with the code in it. Having the window not change opacity would be the cherry on the cake :)

Thank you!
PS. I'm on Win11 and I have a suspicion this is acrylic related and there is nothing you can do, but i wanted to be sure. You-know-who suggests vim.g.neovide_opacity_inactive but that seems to be bogus
