Dear Diary,

Sunday

Dear Diary,
Today was one of those days that felt like a rollercoaster – full
of ups and downs. School was overwhelming, as usual, but
something extraordinary happened. During English class, we
started reading 'To Kill a Mockingbird,' and I was instantly
hooked. The way Harper Lee paints the world through Scout's
eyes is just mesmerizing. It made me think about how we judge
others without really seeing the world from their perspective.
Well, that's all for today. I'm grateful for the little lessons
learned and the comfort of having people who believe in me.
Goodnight, Diary.

Example
Today, I stood at the crossroads of adolescence and adulthood. It's like standing on
the edge of a vast ocean, knowing I have to swim across but not knowing what I'll
encounter beneath the waves.

I realized that the quiet moments alone in my room are not just silence, but
conversations with my future self. What will I tell her? That I was brave, kind, and
pursued my dreams, I hope.

They say every person we meet is a mirror, reflecting parts of ourselves we don't
always see. Today, I saw a reflection of patience in an unexpected conversation with
my younger brother. It's a part of me I want to bring into the light more often.

The world is so loud, yet my thoughts sometimes scream even louder. In the
stillness of tonight, I penned down my fears, not to give them life, but to free myself
from their chains.
Starters Growth is painful—like stretching muscles you never knew existed. But today, I
stretched my 'empathy' muscle when I forgave a friend. It hurt, but the strength
gained was worth it.

were you doing, and why did it evoke such a strong feeling?

2. Imagine you could talk to a historical figure. Who would it

be, and what would you ask them?

Writing 3. Write about a dream you had recently. What do you think it

might mean?

4. Reflect on a challenge you're facing right now. How does it

make you feel, and what steps can you take to overcome it?

5. Think about a place you've never visited but would love to

explore. Describe it and explain why it intrigues you.
