I’ve been interested in amateur radio from back on the 70’s when our next-door neighbor had a huge antenna in his back yard, and we had a list of days and times he would be transmitting so we couldn’t watch tv or listen to the radio during those times due to heavy interference.

I’ve spent the past 25 years in IT where I’ve managed everything from small company desktop computers and networks to large corporate enterprise systems, servers, computers, firewalls, routers, switches, etc. I’ve installed, updated and maintained Microsoft operating systems from Windows 3.1 through Windows 11, Server NT through 2026, SQL & MySQL databases, Exchange servers and too-many-to-count versions of Linux and Mac. I’ve also done website creation and maintenance along with MDM (mobile device management).

In my spare time I enjoy fellowship with friends, home projects with my hunny bunny, photography, hammock camping and banging on a drum (dejembe and cajon are my favorites).
